Completed in 2020, this Walston Group special project took a home that had been severely neglected and helped it reclaim its former glory as an adorable cottage-style bungalow. The location is especially attractive as it faces Memorial Park, offering front row seats to the balloon glow and fireworks, plus easy access to all the park amenities. 

The floor plan was very functional with some minor reworking, and included a main level primary bedroom with en-suite bath, a formal dining room, large living area , and convenient main level laundry. We took care to preserve the original charm and character where possible including refinishing the hardwood flooring throughout and preserving the original brick fireplace. 

Project highlights include: 

• New kitchen with custom cabinets, quartz countertops, tile backsplash, GE stainless steel appliances including gas range, and built-in coffee bar with bookshelves

• Both baths were fully updated with new tile flooring, full tile showers, and all new plumbing fixtures

• Upper level bedroom with attached sitting area that could be a great walk-in closet, nursery, or place to relax!

• New: roof, electrical panel, wiring and light fixtures, plumbing lines, and interior and exterior paint

• Plenty of storage available in the clean unfinished basement

• Large 2 car detached garage with easy alley access and space for RV or extra parking

• Large backyard with concrete patio and plenty of room to entertain or garden
